David Simpson

David has over thirty years’ experience in and consulting to the energy industry, including upstream and downstream oil & gas, power generation, gas & power distribution, and midstream operations. He as also served clients in a range of other industries including oilfield services, petrochemicals, financial services, professional services, retail, and healthcare.  His career has spanned every continent, working with clients in over 25 countries as a partner with Arthur Andersen (where he led the US strategy practice), and Deloitte, where he was responsible for both strategy and energy in the former Soviet Union.  David holds a MBA and BA in Economics from the University of Texas at Austin.
