Over the last 25 years, Jim owned several companies including a leading commercial aluminum fabrication company, an engineering firm and a product development firm. He has served in several executive positions for companies including VP of Engineering for a leading construction firm, General Manager of a Ford engine manufacturing company, and General Manager of new product development company, to name a few. Lastly, Jim was the past Chairman of the NSRP “Business Process and Technology Panel” for the U.S. Shipbuilding Industry...an industry coalition created to work with the U.S. Navy and Washington policy makers on research and programs affecting the U.S. Shipbuilding Industry. Jim is very familiar with international trade and has negotiated in Sweden, Norway, Italy, Chile, Netherlands, England, Scotland, Japan and China.
